Tombstone Tuesday - Daniel M. Carlisle

Daniel Michael Carlisle c.1917

Letter from Daniel M Carlisle
Received December 22, 1958

Excerpt from page 2

I want no funeral, no Preaching, no flowers, any flowers to go to sick people. I wish to be buried in my army blanket, same as any other x soldier. I don’t want any coffin but I think there is a law says you got to be put in a box of some kind.

I think Grandpa would be satisfied.
