John's aunt, Fannie Cardella passed away a week ago today, just days before her 94th birthday. She was the oldest child of Gennaro "John" and Angeline (Taddeo) Nardozzi, born in Syracuse, NY on 3 July 1914. Many years ago she moved to Chicago, IL with her husband and children. She leaves behind three children; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; three siblings; and many nieces and nephews.
Our paths only crossed a few times over the years but I know she was a favorite of her nieces and nephews.
Her obituary appeared in the Chicago Tribune on 30 June 2008.
