I was searching for information on East Fox Lake Cemetery, Lake County, Illinois. I believe that my 3rd great-grandparents, William and Elizabeth (Badgley) Wisner are buried there, however I've yet to find anything that confirms that. Their son, Prentis Wisner is listed. One place I never would have thought to search was YouTube. The video doesn't give me any information on my family but it does give me a feel for what the cemetery is like.
Oh, how I wish he had! It would be boring unless you were looking for someone there. I have found a list that says it includes all of the stones that were there in 2005 so either they didn't have stones, the stones didn't survive or their names have worn away.
That was so cool! I would never have thought to look for a video, and never thought to make one, either. But you really do get a good view of what the cemetery looks like, more than you would a group of still photos!
Yes! My camcorder no longer works off of battery, but I'm thinking whatever the best my Droid phone can do, is still (maybe) more than is out there now about some of our little cemeteries.
This was a very cool idea! I went to Youtube and I found several videos of ancestral villages from Hubby's side of the family tree. A few were wonderful photo montages set to music, and we could see the village churches, plazas, and even his grandmother's house in one. Thanks so much for the idea!

Interesting. I guess there is someone for everything. I guess it would be boring if he had filmed every grave, but don't you wish he had?

Yea! At 3:20 he stops at the grave of Prentiss Wisner. Now to rewatch and see if I can find anyone else.
