Sarah Ann Camfield, 28 April 1877
Burr Oak April 28 1877
Dear Children we are well except the children they have the whooping cough and as cross as bedlam we all live to gather now for want of room Joseph went last monday to look for work have not heard from the east nor west
I am going to send you an order for $30 dollars in this letter and want you to write as soon as you get it you will have to wait until after harvest for the rest I like our home very well

got a letter from Joseph Saturday night he is at south bend he has a job he did not say what thought he should come after her and the children soon
Joseph Harrison Camfield was Sarah and Mike's son. His wife was Rose Graham. In 1877 they had two children, Frederick Harrison, born 29 November 1874 and Mabel, born 15 August 1876.
I'd love to know why Sarah was sending Anna money.
